Two of our members, Rosey and Tony Woodbridge, booked a wine holiday after coming to the tasting that Stephen Barrett did for us this summer. This is what they thought of it:

'You may remember the last time Stephen Barrett came to talk he left 
leaflets about the wine tasting trip to the Loire Valley he was 
arranging.  Rosey and I went on it and had the most fantastic time. We
stayed in Saumur, good Hotel, and good restaurants to get an evening 
meal. We went to 4 very different Chateaux /vine yards and in one vine 
yard had a 30 minute most interesting talk about making wines in the 
area. All very interesting. Brought back a lovely selection. We will 
certainly try and go on the next visit he arranges and I would recommend 
it to anyone'.
