Discover Spain’s most iconic wines under one roof The Decanter Great Spanish Fine Wine Encounter – Sat 18 February 2012.   Decanter Magazine, with over 30 years of experience in bringing winning wines to consumers, is hosting its annual Spanish Fine Wine Encounter at The Landmark Hotel, London, on the 18^th February 2012. This prestigious event will showcase some of the best wines from Spain in this stunning and sophisticated location in the heart of London. Guests are invited to sample wines at their leisure from over 300 of the finest Spanish wines from the best wineries, including Freixenet, Gonzalez Byass, Campo Viejo, Cordorniu, Marques de Caceres, Marques de Murrieta  and Torres.  The most distinctive and exciting aspect of this event is that the producers of the wines will be in attendance and available to speak to the guests from their stands, which is rare for public events of this size.  Some of the top winemakers will also be holding masterclasses including Vicente Dalmau from Bodegas Marques de Murrieta, Alvaro Palacios from Alvaro Palacios and Julio Saenz from La Rioja Alta.  Vega-Sicilia, arguably Spain’s best winery, will be hosting an exclusive lunch for visitors, priced at £100 per ticket.   Decanter Great Spanish Fine Wine EncounterSaturday February 18^th 2012  11am – 5pmThe Landmark HotelLondon Prices @ £40 for entry, Masterclasses are £65.
